We’re flying the flag for Battersea and have many happy tenants who love living in SW11. If you need any more convincing on the area’s investment merits, read on:-
- Improved transport links - two new Tube stations running on the Northern line – Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station - are set to open in 2020.
- Power Station redevelopment – the iconic Grade II* listed structure is transforming into a residential, social and employment hub to rival the West End.
- More employment opportunities - the American Embassy is open for business and Apple is planning a new headquarters at Battersea Power Station, taking enough space for 3,000 employees.
- Increased population – the Office for National Statistics revealed Wandsworth (the borough in which Battersea sits) has the highest level of internal London migration, with over 13,100 people arriving from within the capital.
- Choice of properties - Battersea offers an excellent selection of properties, from turn-key ready new builds to charming period homes – something to appeal to every tenant.
- Green space – with 200-acres of green space, a zoo and a brilliant events programme, Battersea Park is a major draw for tenants.
- Thriving social scene – arts galleries and markets are joined by a plethora of bars and restaurants for the social savvy tenant. Northcote Road is a particular highlight.
- Premium rents – homes to let with a view of the River Thames repeatedly command a higher rent than similar properties located further inland.
- Excellent schooling – there are exceptional state and independent choices, endorsed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who chose Thomas’s Battersea for Prince George.
- It looks even better in real life than it does on screen - although we filmed the best of Battersea for our video, there’s no substitute for visiting in person. Give us a call and we’d be delighted to take you on a tour.
